However, ever since the acquisition the company has been focusing more on the Windows Phones running the Windows 10 devices, or at least that's what many people accuse Microsoft of doing. More precisely, the purported Surface Phone release date is slated for April 2017.

As per latest reports, it seems that the Surface phone may not get launched at IFA in Berlin after all. The Redmond based tech giant is investing heavily in the Surface Phone project and wants it to be a marquee handset in all the respects.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL as the Snapdragon 810 processor and it offers 3GB RAM. However, there is a downside and this is the fact that the device runs on Windows and it is lacking for apps.
