The tablet market is 100 million units smaller than expected. What happened?

Screen difference Put the two side-by-side and you can see the displays are not the same. And which one would you be better off buying? And with the entrance of the Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro in the market, more and more users are ditching their non-virtual life to compress their work and play in the small but steady device.

What we found: You win some, you lose some.

So far, Apple has been silent on the rumors about the touch screen for the Macbook Pro 2016, nor is it very forthcoming about the release date.

Apple is reportedly looking to build the slimmest iPhone ever and as it seems, the same story is coming to the MacBook Pro lineup. The pricing for Wi-Fi+cellular models are: 32GB Rs 61,900, 128GB Rs 73,900 and 256GB Rs 85,900.

As the name suggests, this 9.7in iPad Pro has more in common with its 12.9in cousin than with the current 9.7in iPad Air models.

Each tablet features an LED-backlit, multitouch Retina display housed in a sleek casing. Apple agrees, which is why they gave you some options with the latest iPad Pro.

Apple iPhone SE supports hands-on Siri and Apple Pay contactless payment option.

As the largest iPad yet, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is strangely compelling to the right person.

Under the hood, Apple will reportedly renew the chipset to the latest Intel Skylake as well as pack the laptops with OS X 10.12 (or macOS 11).

"The iPad Pro 9.7" is the same size and weight as the Air 2, it's just under 1 lb. and is just 6.1mm thick. For selfies, it gets a 5-megapixel front facing camera and also a retina flash system embedded in the display. Although I'm not fond of taking photos with my tablet, the better image quality is useful when it comes to scanning documents.

While both iPads have the same 2048by1536 pixel resolution, the iPad Pro displays a wider colour range. Under Settings, go to Display and Brightness, and switch on True Tone. This is a boon for users who read on their iPad, especially outdoors. One is said to be a 13-inch model, and another variant is said to have a 15-inch screen. This problem also came with the larger 12.9-inch model, but Apple has released a Lightning-to-USB C cable that provides a faster charging boost for that size.

The Pro 9.7in starts at £499 in the United Kingdom, with prices rising to £839 for the 256GB cellular model. Is it worth it to go Pro, particularly if you don't intend to use the Pencil?

Keep in mind that all those great-looking pictures and videos take up space, so you'll probably want to spring for more memory. The smaller version comes in at a handy 9.7 inches while the next step up is a whopping 12.9 inches.

If you have an older iPad that's getting a little exhausted, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro would be a good next step.
