Microsoft vs Apple Online Tablet SalesMicrosoft has been in a battle with Apple ever since the release of the Surface pro 4 and the Apple iPad Pro. The two tech companies made some entirely different devices and are currently battling for the head of the tablet market but which tablet is better? Let's let the numbers speak for themselves.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 was launched earlier this year and it was a pretty striking success. The tablet is practically a laptop with its huge display but a lot of people have been complaining due to its pricing. It's not a light scheme to begin with, reaching at somewhere between $799 and $1,299 . The tricky thing about it is that you have to buy accessories like the Extended Keyboard Cover and the Surface Stylus in order to take full advantage of it. Similarly, the iPad Pro is the same deal: a rather expensive price tag with the requirement of getting accessories in order to take full use of it, but that hasn't stopped consumers. The question still remains: which one of these two devices is better and why?

Microsoft vs Apple Online Tablet Sales

Microsoft Surface Book vs Apple Macbook ProWe could go about comparing the Surface Pro 4 with the iPad Pro all day long but in truth the best indicator of success is in online tablet sales. Microsoft's tablet sales started to absolutely rise above all competition whereas Apple strongly plummeted around that period and continues to do so. Microsoft's tablets currently account for 45% of the Online Tablet Share whereas Apple hold 17%, just a little above Amazon's 10%. Thus you can clearly see which one consumers prefer, so the only question that remains to be answered is 'why'.

Check out the full study conducted on this matter linked below and let us know which one of these two tech companies you consider had a bigger success and why.
