Microsoft has been continuously improving the Surface Pro tablet and trying to make each new tablet device better than the last and it is certain that the upcoming Surface Pro 4 could turn out to be something special.
SURFACE PRO 4 SPECIFICATIONS
Business Insider reported that Microsoft is going to choose either an Intel Core M Broadwell or the new Skylake processor with the Iris and Iris Pro graphics integration for this device in order to improve its 3D gaming performance by as much as 50 percent. The device will feature at least 4-8GB of RAM, but there will be a 16GB RAM version as well. Microsoft is also expected to add support for LTE in Pro 4.
SURFACE PRO 4 DESIGN CHANGES
It is expected that the new device will be slimmer and lighter than its predecessor and the new machine will be likely available in 14-inch and 12-inch variants. Chinese tech website 36KR reported few months ago that the Surface Pro 4 is going to be a fanless device with small holes in its casing to allow heat to dissipate.
SURFACE PRO 4 RELEASE DATE AND PRICING
Microsoft sent invites to the media on September 14 for an October 6 event in New York. "We have some exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices," it says. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to cost between $910 to $1,820.
Sources close to the company claim that the Redmond-based is going to unveil the Surface Pro 4 alongside two new Lumia handsets (the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL), the Microsoft Band 2 and a slimmer Xbox One.
