Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date Set in October

Surface Pro 4 ReleaseAs $150 discounts start appearing for Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 we're starting to think that the Surface Pro 4 tablet could have a release date of October. It's also worth noting that the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 model has been taken off the Microsoft Store list, which means they're probably going to discourage sales for the Surface Pro 3 in favour of the new product.

The Surface Pro 3 currently features a Core i7 chipset with 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and according to a Microsoft executive, the device was taken off the store because they couldn't handle the demand for it but the real reason is probably related to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. If they aimed the production process towards the new tablet then they wouldn't be able to keep producing the Surface Pro 3 which is probably the reason why it was taken off the store. Also, with the launch of the SurfacePro 4 we expect the Redmond giant to unveil the Microsoft Band 2 as the next-generation fitness band and we could also see a new Windows 10 flagship device like the Lumia 950 or the Lumia 950 XL  for instance.

Windows 10 Installed On 14 Million Devices

Microsoft Windows 10According to the latest statistics we know that Windows 10 has so far been installed on 14 million tablets. This number will continue rising as customers will get their hands on the upcoming Surface Pro 4 which should run the OS brilliantly.  We expect a lot from the upcoming Surface Pro 4 tablet but we can expect a very steep pricing just like the Surface Pro 3.

Make sure you're going to the Surface Pro 4 unveiling during October and be free to leave your thoughts on the upcoming tablet. Do you think that the fact Microsoft pulled the Surface Pro 3 from its store is a sign that they're going to unveil the next-generation device? Let us know.
