Boyd County deputies arrest Catlettsburg man on drug charges

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. - A Catlettsburg man was arrested over the weekend after Boyd County sheriff's deputies made a controlled drug buy, according to a news release.

Paul R. Crisp, no age listed, of the 4700 block of Musser Lane, Catlettsburg, was arrested on drug trafficking charges and resisting arrest, according to the release.

Deputies reportedly bought heroin and cocaine from the suspect. Following the drug buy, deputies obtained a search warrant for the home on Musser Lane.

Authorities found additional heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone tablets and cash, according to the release.

Crisp was taken to King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland for treatment of injuries sustained in the arrest, according to the release.

After being released, Crisp was transported to the Boyd County Detention Center.
