Many Android fans are getting pretty hyped for an event that Google is holding on Oct. 4, presumably for the unveiling of the Google Pixel flagships — previously known and referred to as HTC Nexus Sailfish and Marlin. However, there is one device which fans have yet to receive any kind of clue as to the timing of its inevitable release, and that is the Google Nexus 7 (2016) tablet.
Due to the lack of promotional teasers for the tablet, a lot of gadget enthusiasts may now be wondering: will the next-generation Nexus tablet be launched alongside the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL on Oct. 4? Reports believe that it might.
PC Advisor UK suspects that the unveiling could still happen alongside the new smartphones from the tech giant. However, since Google has not released any clues yet regarding the matter, fans are highly advised to keep an open mind for the time being.
As for who will manufacture it, though, famed and usually reliable tipster, Evan Blass — also known on Twitter as @evleaks — had previously stated that Huawei will helm the production of the Google Nexus 7 (2016) tablet.
This has already been hinted before when Huawei announced that they are keen to pursue the collaboration with Google.
