Microsoft Surface 4's release is uncertain after the tech company has stopped producing the Surface 3. A lot of reports claim that the Surface 4 isn't even coming but others are saying that Microsoft discontinued the Surface 3 because of its age. Let's look at the facts and figure out if the Surface 4 is happening or not.

So far the tech giant has refused to comment on whether or not they will release a Surface 4 which puts a lot of doubt among tech fans but you need to know that Microsoft is adjusting to a new market. Upgrades on the PC market are very slow and tablet shipments are lacking behind as well. One argument is that Microsoft will definitely release a Surface 4 due to the amount of money poured into the Surface brand but that argument might be countered when you consider that Microsoft wants to release a smartphone by that brand, uncaring of its old tablet lineup.

Microsoft To Focus On Enterprise

In order to get a better understanding of things, you need to know that the American tech company has been growing very fond of enterprise lately. With the Surface Pro 3 being used by the NFL and the upcoming Surface Phone to be commercialized on an enterprise level it's clear what Microsoft's plans are. If these plans are to continue then it's possible that Microsoft will release a Surface 4 and commercialize it to big en terprise and small alike. Right now the tech company is at a crossroads regarding its own business and investors are pretty confused about its future, with many fleeting MSFT.
