Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is bound to be here very soon according to a recent report. It appears that Microsoft has some big plans in the coming months and it includes the release of its upcoming tablet successor to the Surface Pro lineup, one of the biggest events this year for the tech industry.

Last year Microsoft brought onto us the Surface Pro 4 which showed a high degree of excellence but not on par with its predecessor. Apple quickly released a competitor but lost in front of the Surface Pro 4. This year, Microsoft is looking towards releasing a new Surface Pro device and it's bound to be very exciting. A recent rumor suggests that the device's pricing will start at $899 which is not bad at all. It's a price that starts off its predecessor's which is brilliant because the new tablet will have heavily improved tech specs yet it won't be that much more expensive.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Release Date

The same report suggests that we'll be seeing the device as early as next month but take that with a pinch of salt. It's more likely that we'll see the tablet device released later this fall, especially considering that Intel has had its fair game with the latest processor lineup. The chipset manufacturer has already developed the latest chip and it was meant to be used with the Surface Pro 5 but it got delayed a while ago. This sparked up a lot of rumors regarding the Surface Pro 5's release date. Some people claimed that the tablet was going to be delayed, others said it would come sooner since Microsoft would switch to an earlier processor model.
