Online Retailer eBay is currently offering Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (Intel Core i5, 128GB) for $779.99. The original price of the tablet is $999. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 runs on Windows 8.1 Pro out of the box.
The Surface Pro 3 boasts of a 12-inch ClearType screen with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. The device has an attractive magnesium frame. The tablet has 4 GB of RAM configuration and supports standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
In addition, the Microsoft device supports ports such as charging port, a cover port, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort and headphone jack. The front-facing camera of this device is of 5-megapixel and the rear camera is also of 5-megapixel.
Some recent reports claim that the Microsoft is gearing up to release the Surface Pro 5in June this year. Speculations are rife that Surface Pro 5 specs will include the Kaby Lake processor. Sources said that the Surface Pro 5 will have the microSD card slot, USB C port and audio jack. Rumors are swirling that the upcoming tablet will have rechargeable Surface Pen and will carry a mini displayport for video. It is learned that the new device will be priced at $899.
But CNET reported that new tablet will not be released till 2017 due to development issues. It is likely that the delay of Windows 10 update could play a big role in the release of Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Some reports claim that Microsoft is waiting for Intel to complete the development of its newest processor, the Kaby Lake.
On the other hand, Microsoft's rival Apple is expected to release MacBook Pro 2016 this June. It is likely that Cupertino-based firm will release MacBook Air (2016) this year.
