Microsoft Surface Pro 5, Surface Book 2 Release Date, Specs, Rumors Roundup

Microsoft's Surface Phone has been one of the hottest topics of discussions since as early as June a year ago, and the company has been expected to come out with the Surface Phone in the days to follow.

If you are among the people who have been planning to go for Surface Pro 4, arguably the best tablet in the market right now, it seems the best time.

Microsoft has just announced a new price cut for the Surface Pro 4 lineup, but this time, only two models are getting the discount.

It's worth noting that three other variants of the tablet are also available, although they are now not being offered along with discounted prices.

The Surface Pro 4 is Redmond's latest addition to the Surface lineup (together with the Surface Book) and comes with a 12.3-inch PixelSense display, Intel Core processors, up to 256 GB of storage, and 16 GB of RAM. The offers on both Core i5 models are valid till March 26.

The gadget is also expected to arrive with an enhanced rechargeable Surface Pen stylus that will feature a power button, charging port as well as a notification light. Apart from the $100 savings on the tablet, Microsoft is also offering up to $229 savings on the bundle offer. Moreover, TechRadar rated the battery life of the Surface Pro 4 as "below average", making battery longevity a huge factor in developing the upcoming Surface Pro 5. "We're listening and channeling that feedback directly into our products", says Panos Panay, corporate vice president and head of Microsoft's Surface business. In addition, the industry follower said that the Surface Phone is believed to be a small-scale version of the Surface Pro 4.

These current deals are for purchases made directly through the Microsoft Store.
