Apple Confirms March 21 Launch Event

Expected to be priced at $400 to $500, the 4-inch iPhone will also likely feature a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and support near field communication for Apple Pay. We might see the tablet with a Smart Cover keyboard attachment too just like the original iPad Pro.

The department wrote in a footnote to its filing: "The FBI can not itself modify the software on Farook's iPhone without access to the source code and Apple's private electronic signature".

Apple will live stream the event over the web as well as through its Apple TV app. The March event might be the day when the older operating system gets replaced with this newer software.

Earlier speculations had indicated that Apple would refresh its iPad Air lineup and launch a new iPad Air 3 in March. This means that the famous company needs to release some new devices that would once again ensure its success. Does the word refer to Apple iPod loop strap, or is it the new band for Apple Watch?

It's also e xpected Apple will introduce a revamped iPad.

Both the iPad Pro and the iPhone 5SE will be available for sale as soon as the event comes to a close.

The rumored iPhone SE will likely be the most important product for investors to watch.

In terms of camera, the SE will borrow an 8MP primary camera and a 1.2MP front snapper from the iPhone 6.

A Virtual Reality headset from headset from Apple has also been one of the most anticipated devices from the company, and there is a chance that the tech company might announce a product in the VR category during the launch.

Though Apple doesn't break out sales numbers for different versions of the iPhone, Wall Street analysts believe there has been a large amount of staying power for the iPhone 5S because of its smaller size. To say that these events are watched closely by investors, reporters, tech nerds and pop culture enthusiasts alike is an understatement.

By Apple's own reckoning, the corporation - which grosses hundreds of billions of dollars a year - would need to set aside as few as six of its 100,000 employees for perhaps as little as two weeks.
