iPad Air 3 release date, specs rumors suggest great new features in upcoming Apple tablet - Apple is reportedly gearing up to release its new device, the iPad Air 3, in March.
The Bit Bag claimed that the device is expected to be of reach sometime this year. Several reports said that the new device will come loaded with several new features that will help in boosting sales and help Apple beat the competition.
Youth Health Mag published a report claiming that the iPad Air 3 would be released during the March event of the Cupertino-based company. It may be recalled that earlier it was reported that Apple would launch the iPad Air 3 in October 2015 but Apple did not release the device then.
The iPad 3 is rumored to arrive with the rumored iPhone 6c and second generation Apple Watch. Regarding the specs of the upcoming tablet, JBH News reported that it is expected to have a 9.7-inch display with a screen resolution of 2334 x 3112 pixels. It's also said to have a Touch ID feature and 4K resolution.
Rumors are strong that the iPad Air 3 will carry an A9X processor along with 2 GB of RAM. Lawyer Herald noted that the rear camera of the device will be of 13-megapixel, while the front camera will be of 5-megapixel. The internal storage capacity may be 16 GB, 32 GB and 128 GB. It is expected that the new device will have a longer battery life and a fingerprint sensor too.
Sources noted that the iPad Air 3 will not come with 3D Touch feature feature because of some production issues in Apple's supply chain.
