If you're wondering as to Samsung has yet to release a Windows-powered tablet for a while now, rest assure. Around a couple of months ago, it was reported that Samsung is in the midst of developing a 12-inch tablet which will run Windows 10, and sure enough, fast-forward to the present, a tablet with the model number SM-W700 has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG.
As far as hardware go, the 12-inch tablet features either a 2560 x 1600 or 3840 x 2400 pixel resolution display, and will be powered by a 13nm Intel Core M processor paired to 4GB of RAM. In addition, the device is equipped with an S Pen, which sounds par for the course for a device this size, with productivity being its key selling point. Of course, Samsung itself has not actually hinted anything as yet about a new Windows 10 tablet so when it will be released is anyone's guess. However, given that the device has been certified, its release may end up being sooner than later.
