Damian Lillard's latest shoe in his D Lillard 1 line for Adidas is about to drop on August 7 at $105, according to SoleCollector.com. This latest version will be the "Lumberjack" edition.
Along with the brown and red overlay, the shoe has a number of unique features, according to Brandon Richard of SoleCollector.com:
Other features include metal rivets and D-ring eyelets, a leather heel overlay, speckled midsole and black rubber outsole. The area code 503 is printed on the heel pull-tab, presumably making this shoe a nod to Portland and its lumberjack heritage, though that hasn't been confirmed.

The shoe certainly has a distinct, unique style, and both the colorway and the hints of plaid that sneak into the sneaker give it a more rustic feel while remaining a sleek and fresh design. With so many different brands and editions of those brands on the market, delivering something truly unique isn't the easiest of tasks.
This shoe certainly pulls off that feat.
Lillard, meanwhile, might feel like a lumberjack took an ax to his team this offseason. Gone are LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum, while Mason Plumlee and Noah Vonleh lead a whole new cast of players who were brought aboard this offseason.
Just as lumberjacks ideally plant a tree where they've chopped one down, the Portland Trail Blazers will be hoping that they have adequately replaced the impact players they lost this offseason.
After all, Lillard doesn't want to end up like Bobby Butter.
It's doubtful Butter would be able to rock the "Lumberjack," but fans of Lillard and his shoes who want a unique spin on the style should enjoy these kicks immensely. The "Lumberjack" is absolutely one of the premier designs set to drop in August and is worth checking out, especially given the limited release.
