Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is coming to mobiles and tablets

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is coming to mobiles and tablets, it has been announced.

A launch title for the original Xbox, the 3D platformer will be developed by Canadian studio Square One Games.

The studio has experience with the Oddworld series, having previously ported Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD to mobiles back in 2014.

The new version will lay the foundations for an Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee reissue on Steam.

The good news for PC users is that the new version will be a free upgrade to owners of the current iteration.

Release dates are yet to be announced, but the mobile version will be playable at E3 next week.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee sees Munch and Able use their respective abilities to deliver payback to the Vykkers corporation.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty - a remake of 1997 game Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee - made its PS3 debut earlier this year.
